Sunday Puja
Traditionally the Sunday lectures and recitation of sacred verses as per Sri Gurustuti text composed by Acharya Rameshwar Jha were conducted in Swamiji’s presence at his ashram and Guptganga in Ishber, Srinagar.
Around the year 1970, devotees from Jammu and Delhi sought permission to also conduct Sunday Puja with recitation of Sri Gurustuti text Sanskrit verses in their cities as well. Wishing to inspire his devotees, Swamiji granted permission, and from 1970 onwards the convention of regular Sunday worship in homes of Devotees began initially at Jammu and then later also in Delhi .
This convention of regular Sunday Puja worship, continues even today at the Ishwar Ashram Ishber ,Nishat ,Srinagar ,Kashmir by devotees of Gurudev .
